Brett and Mark go to 10-40 Window

Last February, Mark and I traveled into the 10/40 window with the US-based mission organization we support as a church. During our time on this trip, we had the opportunity to encourage those Pastors serving in that area through times of study and prayer.  We were also able to see first hand the impact these faithful brothers are having for the Lord in spite of the persecution that is taking place.  

I am amazed at the faithfulness of these believers and their willingness to sacrifice everything in order to see the gospel preached and disciples made.  The trip reminded me that all of us should be ready daily to share the Good News of Jesus as the Holy Spirit leads even if hardship comes.  The Apostle Paul writes this in 2 Timothy 3:12,  “Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.” (ESV)
