“We started coming to Sozo a couple of years ago and it immediately felt like home to us. We had tried to get plugged in at several different churches over the years, but nothing seemed to be a good fit. The families at Sozo have become like family to us and we are excited to be living out our faith with other believers who are passionate about growing in their faith reaching our community for Christ.” ~Couper Family

One weekend a few years ago, we had been asking God for direction on church and where to fellowship. Our son, Joshua is deaf and wasn’t feeling connected where we had been attending.  He loves people but was not fitting in. He was too hearing for the deaf and too deaf for the hearing and he needed a place to belong as he is. That same weekend we had a garage sale in our neighborhood and Kerry Latin game by. As we were catching up, she mentioned that she and Brett were planting a church. We immediately felt called to join Brett and Kerry at Sozo and let her know. Sozo has met both Joshua’s and our needs.   Joshua has never felt more connected and our friends at Sozo have become family to us.  Each week feels like we are meeting to eat, celebrate and worship God with our best friends! It’s a “can’t miss” event each weekend for us.

“We have been Sozo members since Pastor Brett sought to organize a church back in 2014.  We both knew God was leading us to join and participate in what would become a missional type of community where we live life together and share our passions and desires to see others come to Christ and have their lives blessed by him as he has blessed ours.  What we have since found is that as we share our lives together on a weekly basis by eating meals together, serving our community together, meeting for bible study at the local coffee shop, and periodically doing fun things together, we appreciate fellowship that much more and have a growing desire to do more for our community.” ~Fuller Family

“We started Sozo church plant with Brett and Kerry because we were wanted a smaller more intimate church community. We  love knowing everyone at Sozo, we share are struggles and we celebrate our victories. We love to serve together and just hang out together. The relationships formed at Sozo are deep and lasting. We definitely care for each other.  “ ~Fleming Family

“We were seeking a church with a strong missional focus towards outreach in the community and the world. We’ve definitely found that at Sozo! We love having great discussions around God’s Word and participating in our weekly small groups at a local coffee shop. This is a church where you can get to know everyone and everyone knows you! ~Pettersen Family
